Winter Road Opportunities
The winter road season runs yearly from late January until April. Recruitment starts on October 1, and we will not accept any inquiries for winter road work before that date. All applicants must be Canadian citizens or legally entitled to work in Canada.
Build your career with Tli Cho Landtran on the winter road. There are yearly opportunities for:
- Lease operators
- Outside carriers (freight forwarding from Edmonton to Yellowknife, and some winter road work)
2011 Winter Road Driver Standards
Owner Operators or Company Drivers:
- Canadian citizen or be able to legally work in Canada
- Minimum 2 years deck freight experience
- Owner Operator trucks must be less than 5 years old and have current CVSA’s
- Drivers Abstract from licence issuing province
- Criminal Record check
- Drivers Licence – Class 1
- TDG experience
- Must be fluent in English
Must have the following experience:
- Super B's
- Tridem flat decks
Please indicate experience with Trombones and Over Dimensional, if any.
