For those people who wish to become an ice road trucker, the rules for working in Canada for non residents, requires a work visa and a job offer from a Canadian company. The trucking companies in Yellowknife have requested that you do not call them if you are a not a resident of Canada. At this time there are no jobs available for the 2008 season for drivers from outside of Canada.
